Research geocoded event locations and favorite places; issue only for now.

Background / current behavior

Events have a free-text location field with no geocoding or favorites.

Expected behavior

Location field backed by real geocoded results, plus saved favorite/frequent locations. Candidate approaches: self-hostable Nominatim/Photon vs commercial APIs.

Acceptance criteria (research issue)

Written note of candidate approaches and recommendation
No implementation required in this issue
